Oldest Furnace Giveaway – General Terms & Conditions

This promotion (“Giveaway”) is sponsored by SameDay Heating & Air (“Sponsor”).

No Purchase Necessary

No purchase, payment, or service from Sponsor is required to enter or win. A purchase or payment will not increase chances of winning.

Eligibility

Open only to legal residents of Utah, 18 years of age or older at the time of entry.

Entrants must be homeowners and the furnace entered must be installed at their primary residence within Sponsor’s service area and in functional condition.

Employees, officers, directors, and contractors of Sponsor, its affiliates, and members of their immediate households are not eligible to enter or win.

Promotion Period

The Giveaway begins on 1/15/26 and ends 2/20/26 at 11:59pmMST. Entries submitted before or after the Promotion Period will not be eligible.

How to Enter

Complete the entry form in full, including name, address, phone number, email, and any required information.

Upload at least one clear photo of your furnace. The photo must show:

The furnace itself, and

A visible age indicator (such as a manufacture date label, serial/Model tag, or clearly marked age sticker).

Limit of one (1) entry per household. Multiple entries from the same household may be disqualified at Sponsor’s sole discretion.

Verification of Furnace Age

The potential grand prize winner must allow Sponsor (or its representative) to verify the age of the furnace in person, which may include inspection of nameplate/serial label and any documentation reasonably requested.

If the furnace age cannot be reasonably verified, Sponsor may disqualify that entry and select an alternate potential winner.

The furnace must be installed and in use at the time of verification.

Prizes

Grand Prize: Awarded to the verified entrant with the oldest furnace, as determined in Sponsor’s sole discretion. Specific details, components, and maximum value of the grand prize will be described in related promotional materials. Prize is non-transferable and may not be redeemed for cash.

Secondary Prize Drawing – Utah Mammoth Tickets: All eligible entries (not including the grand prize winner) will be entered into a random drawing for a chance to win Utah Mammoth tickets for a game in the 2025–2026 season. Number of winners, ticket quantity, seat locations, and game dates are subject to availability and may be changed or substituted at Sponsor’s discretion. Travel, parking, food, and any other expenses are not included.

Winner Selection & Odds

Grand Prize: After the Promotion Period, Sponsor will review eligible entries and determine the oldest furnace based on the information and photos provided, followed by in‑person verification.

Ticket Drawing: All eligible entries received during the Promotion Period will be included in a random drawing for Utah Mammoth tickets. Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received. Grand Prize winner is not eligible for the Ticket Drawing.

Sponsor’s decisions regarding eligibility, winner selection, and prize awards are final and binding in all respects.

Winner Notification

Potential winners will be notified using the contact information provided on the form (phone, email, or both).

If a potential winner cannot be contacted, fails to respond within the time specified in the notification, fails to complete verification, or is found ineligible, Sponsor may select an alternate winner.

Winner once notified and verified will be announced via a variety of channels, which may include but is not exclusive to social media, TV, radio, email.

Conditions of Participation

By entering, each entrant:

Represents and warrants that all information provided is true and accurate, and that the furnace submitted is located at their residence, installed, running, and is not misrepresented in age.

Agrees to comply with these Terms & Conditions and all Sponsor decisions.

Accepts the prize “as is,” without any additional warranties beyond those required by law or expressly provided by Sponsor or manufacturer.

Use of Name, Likeness, and Content
By entering, entrant grants Sponsor and its affiliates a perpetual, worldwide, royalty‑free, non‑exclusive license to use entrant’s name, city, likeness, photos of the furnace, photos & videos of new installation process/unit, and any statements or content submitted in connection with the Giveaway in any media, including for advertising and promotional purposes, without additional compensation.



Rights to Submitted Photos & Content

Entrant must own or have the right to submit any photo or content used for entry.

Content must not be offensive, unlawful, or infringe upon the rights of any third party.

Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entry containing inappropriate or infringing material.

Limitation of Liability
Sponsor is not responsible for:

Incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by entrants or any equipment or programming associated with or used in the Giveaway.

Technical failures of any kind, including but not limited to malfunctioning of any website, form, or network.

Lost, late, misdirected, incomplete, or illegible entries.

By participating, entrants agree to release and hold harmless Sponsor, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from any and all liability for any loss, harm, damage, injury, cost, or expense arising out of or in connection with participation in the Giveaway or the acceptance, use, or misuse of any prize, except where prohibited by law.

Privacy
Information collected from entrants will be used for the administration of the Giveaway and for Sponsor’s marketing and communication purposes, in accordance with Sponsor’s privacy practices. Entrants may unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time using the methods provided in those communications.

General Provisions

Sponsor reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Giveaway if fraud, technical failures, or any other factor beyond Sponsor’s reasonable control impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the Giveaway, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion.

Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process or acting in violation of these Terms & Conditions or in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner.

The Giveaway is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations and is void where prohibited.

Disputes & Governing Law
Except where prohibited, entrants agree that any disputes, claims, or causes of action arising out of or connected with this Giveaway or any prize shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and shall be governed by the laws of the State of Utah, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Acceptance of Terms
By submitting the form, entrant acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
