Heating Services in Park City, UT

With cold winters, significant snowfall, and high-altitude conditions, heating systems in Park City face unique challenges. Older residences may still operate low-efficiency furnaces and dated ductwork, while recent builds incorporate high-efficiency heat pumps or natural gas systems. Annual servicing, duct inspection, and heating system upgrades help ensure safety and energy performance during extended cold spells.

Our Park City Heating Services Include:

  • Furnace Repairs
  • Furnace Replacements and Installations
  • Heat Pump Repairs and Installs
  • Thermostat and Smart Thermostat Services
  • Emergency Heating Repair Services

Cooling Services in Park City, UT

Although summers in Park City are mild due to its high elevation, average July highs reach around 80–82 °F, and strong sun exposure can still drive indoor heat gain. Older homes often rely on natural ventilation or retrofit cooling, while newer builds typically include central AC or ductless systems. Factors like sun orientation, shade, and mountain breezes also affect efficiency. SameDay provides proper system sizing, duct checks, and maintenance to keep homes comfortable all summer.

Our Park City Air Conditioner Services Include:

  • Air Conditioner Repairs
  • AC Replacements and New System Installations
  • Seasonal AC Tune Ups and Maintenance
  • Ductless Mini Splits
  • Emergency AC Repairs

Plumbing Services in Park City

Park City Water Department sources water from Quinns Junction, Three Kings, and Spiro treatment plants, and operates 16 storage reservoirs across 43 pressure zones—a complex system due to the city’s steep terrain. Official Park City reports confirm no lead service lines in the system. Even so, older plumbing in historic homes combined with high elevation and freezing winter conditions can increase the risk of pipe wear, scale buildup, drainage issues, and cracked lines.

Our Park City Plumbing Services Include:

  • Water Heater Repairs and Replacements (Tank & Tankless)
  • Pipe Repairs, Repiping, and Plumbing Upgrades
  • Leak Detection and General Plumbing Repairs
  • Drain Cleaning and Sewer Line Services
  • Fixture Repairs and Installations

Pulled electrical power from existing subpanel in basement and ran new circuit across the hall, up through the living room, and out to the exterior wall for Mitsubishi mini-split air conditioning unit installation. Transitioned wiring from interior to exterior using weatherproof conduit, dropping down to the designated outdoor unit location. Consolidated existing electrical panel to create space for additional breaker, then installed dedicated breaker for the mini-split system to complete the electrical rough-in.

Completed dual HVAC system conversion from AC-only to heat pump configuration and installed additional mini-split system. System 1 (upstairs) involved replacing downflow furnace with CK40DT-30/36C air handler, installing EL21KLV-036 heat pump, 3-4 ton coil, Lennox S40 smart thermostat, and RDS board. Furnace required uninstallation and lifting for proper positioning. System 2 (main floor) involved replacing upflow furnace with CK40CT-60C air handler (C-width configuration), installing EL21KLV-048 heat pump, S40 thermostat, and RDS board. Furnace was uninstalled and mounted on base for proper installation height. Both systems reused existing linesets which were flushed prior to connection. Completed annual heating maintenance on a four-year-old furnace located in the crawl space as part of recurring preventative maintenance program. Performed comprehensive tune-up including inspection of all major components, burner assembly, heat exchanger, and safety controls. Inspected air filter which showed moderate dust and debris accumulation consistent with normal operation. Examined condensate drain pan and noted significant mineral deposit buildup on bottom surface, indicating ongoing evaporation and potential drainage concerns that should be monitored. Checked ductwork connections and observed moisture presence on metal plenum surfaces. Verified proper system operation and confirmed unit is functioning within manufacturer specifications. Recommended monitoring drain pan for continued mineral accumulation and ensuring proper condensate drainage to prevent future issues.

We had Taylor come out today to quote a new RO system. He was very good with our curious Labrador and explained the different options and quotes. There was no pressure to sell the best model. We have a membership with Same Day and it is because we know we will get excellent technicians like Taylor every time.

My water heater pilot light keeps going out. They replaced the entire heating element and ignition system and the gas regulator valve a couple of months ago. Worked for about a month but problems resurfaced. Tristan my technician called the gas company to ensure proper gas pressure coming to the home and replaced items for possible solution. He spent 2 hours making sure he had exhausted all options to prevent this issue recurring. We will see what happens but you can’t fault his efforts and knowledge.
