Performed diagnostic evaluation on non-operational furnace system originally reported for no heat and no airflow. Upon inspection, discovered extensive water intrusion damage to the unit resulting in significant rust deterioration throughout the cabinet and internal components. Found the draft inducer motor completely seized due to water damage and corrosion. Further evaluation revealed a compromised heat exchanger, rendering the system unsafe for operation. Documented findings with photographic evidence of the crawl space installation environment and access conditions. Provided estimate for minimum repairs including inducer motor replacement, noting that additional evaluation would be required following initial repairs to fully assess the extent of water damage to other system components. No repairs were authorized or completed during this visit.

Responded to no-heat call on 10-15 year old furnace system. Responded to active water leak in basement bathroom caused by failed cleanout cap on main sewer line. Upon arrival, confirmed water discharged from exposed cleanout opening whenever plumbing fixtures were used. Removed access panel in wall and floor to expose main line. Utilized video inspection camera to assess pipe condition and verify proper drainage flow. Documented existing water damage to surrounding floor and wall surfaces from repeated overflow events. Secured cleanout with proper threaded cap to restore system integrity and prevent further leakage.
