Responded to reported buzzing sound from 2-3 year old American Standard AC unit (Model 4A7A3018H1000HC, manufactured 7/2022) located in backyard. Diagnosed failed contactor requiring replacement with single or two-pole 30-40 amp unit. Follow-up appointment scheduled to complete contactor installation, as proper ladder equipment needed for safe roof access to complete repair.
Completed comprehensive cooling maintenance on 10-year-old Lennox XC21 air conditioning system (model XC21G5030) utilizing R-410A refrigerant. Unit located at ground level on exterior concrete pad. Performed standard preventive maintenance protocol including inspection of condenser coil, fan motor operation, and electrical connections at 230V service. Cleaned accumulated debris, leaves, and organic material from top grille and exterior surfaces. Verified proper airflow through condenser fan and assessed overall unit condition. Inspected refrigerant lines and confirmed system operational status. No reported issues from member at time of service. Basement furnace also noted as part of 10-year-old HVAC system. All components functioning within normal parameters upon completion of membership maintenance visit.
Performed comprehensive non-member inspection and flush service on 10-year-old natural gas water heater located in basement. Inspected AGA-certified natural draft unit, verified proper venting installation, checked manufacturer specifications and safety labels for compliance. Completed water heater flush to remove sediment buildup and maintain system efficiency.
