Completed installation of two 50-gallon Rheem Classic water heaters in accordance with all applicable code requirements. Removed existing water heater unit and installed dual tank system with proper venting, gas connections, expansion tank with safety valves, earthquake restraint straps, new copper supply lines, and shutoff valves. Tested both units for proper operation, verified gas connections for leaks, confirmed adequate water flow and temperature settings, and ensured all safety devices were functioning correctly.
Responded to inspection report of potential carbon monoxide issue at water heater with suspected blockage in fresh air intake. Investigated water heater venting system and combustion air supply for obstructions including possible animal nesting materials. Performed pressure testing and visual inspection of gas connections and venting components to identify source of concern and ensure safe operation of appliance.
Responded to a clogged kitchen sink that had been slow-draining for approximately one month. Upon arrival, assessed the stainless steel double-basin sink and successfully cleared the blockage from the affected drain line using mechanical methods. Verified proper drainage and water flow upon completion, restoring full functionality to the fixture.
