Removed the existing Triangle Tube boiler and installed a new IBC 250k BTU stainless steel boiler, with new copper piping, an automatic air vent, and PVC venting connected to the existing hydronic manifold, circulators, and zone valves. Flushed the heating system with cleaner and added corrosion inhibitor to protect against corrosion and debris buildup. Installation is clean, with all connections and fittings in good condition and no visible leaks.
Performed a pre-winter maintenance inspection on a 12-year-old furnace with no reported issues, including a borescope inspection of the evaporator coil and surrounding plenum area. The inspection identified torn, deteriorated insulation or duct liner material near the coil, along with frost or mineral accumulation on adjacent surfaces. Documented findings with photographs and noted the conditions for further evaluation and repair recommendations.
Performed an on-site evaluation for a no-heat complaint on a 10+ year-old hydronic (Aquatherm) heating system, with a secondary report of discolored water at hot-only bathtub fixtures. Documented the existing conditions, including the portable air conditioner currently serving the space, and assessed the area for a potential ductless mini split installation.
