Responded to service call for 4-year-old tankless water heater in basement producing only lukewarm water instead of hot water. Inspected unit and associated plumbing components including pressure reducing valve assembly on copper supply lines. Diagnosed issue, performed necessary adjustments or repairs to restore proper hot water temperature output to whole home system.
Successfully installed a Lennox EL297UH090XV48CK 90% efficiency furnace with base and pressure switch in basement utility room. Installation included PVC venting system, condensate pump for drainage management, T6 thermostat, and 20x25x1 filter rack with filters. All equipment tested and operational upon completion.
Responded to report of water heater leaking from bottom in basement. Upon arrival, confirmed 9-year-old Rheem tanked water heater with active leak at base of unit. Water supply to unit had been shut off prior to arrival. Inspected unit and determined tank failure due to age and internal corrosion, resulting in water discharge from bottom of tank. Documented condition with photographs showing water heater installation, connected plumbing lines including flexible braided supply hoses with copper fittings, and adjacent HVAC equipment. Advised replacement of failed water heater due to compromised tank integrity.
