Performed comprehensive system inspection, verified electrical readings showing 248 volts, and conducted standard heating season maintenance procedures. Installed 50-gallon residential water heater in basement mechanical room with full code compliance including proper venting system, gas line connections, expansion tank, earthquake restraint straps, new copper supply lines, and shutoff valve. Removed and disposed of existing water heater, completed all connections per manufacturer specifications, performed system light-off and operational testing to verify proper function and safety of new unit with 6-year manufacturer warranty coverage.
