Completed Cool 10+ maintenance on 2008 residential split system with outdoor condenser and basement furnace. Customer reported loud noise when AC attempts to start, though furnace operates normally in heat and fan modes. Performed comprehensive inspection of outdoor unit, checking electrical connections, capacitor condition, compressor operation, and fan motor assembly. Inspected wiring harness and found loose connections that were secured. Tested system startup and verified all electrical components within specifications. Cleaned condenser coils, checked refrigerant pressures, and confirmed proper airflow through outdoor unit.
