Responded to a water pressure issue following recent pressure reducing valve replacement. Upon arrival, inspected the newly installed PRV and approximately 6 inches of copper piping that had been replaced due to a leak above the original valve. Diagnosed inadequate water pressure throughout the residence. Evaluated PRV settings, brass fittings, and copper pipe connections to identify the cause of pressure loss. Adjusted pressure reducing valve to restore proper water pressure to the 28-year-old home's plumbing system.
Responded to kitchen garbage disposal failure with reported leaking, grinding issues, and smoking before complete operational failure. Upon inspection, found disposal unit showed signs of significant wear, corrosion, and internal damage consistent with age and deterioration. Documented existing conditions including damaged motor housing and evidence of electrical failure. Evaluated disposal system and provided recommendations for replacement due to safety concerns and extent of component damage.
Responded to reported water leak causing saturated flooring in downstairs living room area. Removed section of damaged carpet and underlayment to access subfloor and investigate source of moisture intrusion. Created access opening in wall to expose concealed plumbing system. Located and identified leaking pipe connection in main water supply line. Shut off water supply using main valve to stop active leak and prevent further water damage to flooring and surrounding structure.
We had a little sewage problem at 4:00 on Mother’s Day and called one company who said they would come out between 7-9. At 10:00 they had not shown or contacted us. We then called Anytime and they sent Gabriel out within 30 minutes. By this time it was around midnight. Gabriel went over all the money options with us and started work right away. Within the hour he called me in to see my pipes through the camera and educated me on what was good and what was the problem. He cleared the clog in no time and was so personable and professional letting me know what I would want to do in the near future to prevent further problems. He then didn’t charge me for the things that he felt were not needed. He didn’t try to sell anything, just educated me about my 75 year old pipes. It was such a positive experience for such a crappy night.
