Upon inspection of basement-located furnace and associated equipment, verified proper installation of flexible ductwork, copper plumbing connections, gas line connections, and PVC condensate drainage. Checked air filter condition, confirmed secure electrical connections at junction box and unit, and ensured all mechanical components were operating within manufacturer specifications. System tested and adjustments completed as needed.
Responded to sewage backup in downstairs basement affecting shower and floor drain. Upon arrival, found flooding condition from infrequently used fixtures with sewage backing up through shower drain. Inspected vertical drain stack and associated plumbing connections, identifying blockage in main drainage line serving multiple basement fixtures.
