North Salt Lake has grown over 33% since 2010, with most of the city’s housing built during the 2000s construction boom. That means furnaces and water heaters installed 20 years ago are now entering the failure window, and growing families are putting demands on electrical systems that weren’t designed for today’s loads. When your heat goes out on a January night with kids in the house, you need a team that answers, not a company that “might be able to send someone.”
SameDay provides HVAC, plumbing, and electrical services across North Salt Lake and the surrounding Davis County communities, all three trades under one roof. We’ve been serving Utah since 1957.
When HVAC or plumbing problems can’t wait, neither do we. We know HVAC, furnace, and plumbing issues don’t adhere to a schedule, which is why we offer emergency services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. All three trades are covered under one emergency line, so call now to get the SameDay solutions your home and family need.
Growing families mean growing electrical demands. We modernize panels, install EV chargers, and upgrade wiring to support the loads today’s households actually use. We currently offer $500 off EV charger installation (excludes customer-provided equipment).
Utah’s hard water accelerates mineral buildup in pipes and water heaters. In homes built during the 2000s boom, water heaters are now 15 to 20 years old and approaching end of life. Our licensed plumbers handle water softener installation, routine flushing, and full system replacements.
North Salt Lake summers push into the 90s. A properly maintained cooling system keeps your home comfortable from June through September, and high-efficiency replacements reduce monthly utility bills.
North Salt Lake winters demand furnace reliability. When your system fails, you need it fixed the same day. Our certified technicians handle everything from routine tune-ups to full system replacements, with most installations completed in a single day.
Whether you’re dealing with furnace failures, burst pipes, sewer backups, power outages, or gas leak concerns, we dispatch 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including nights, weekends, and holidays. All three trades are covered under one emergency line.
We love serving our customers in North Salt Lake . Don't just take our word for it; here is what your neighbors say about our reliable service.
North Salt Lake sits just north of Salt Lake City in Davis County, with the Wasatch Mountains rising to the east and the Jordan River corridor to the west. Cold winters, valley inversions, and year-round hard water are a given here. What’s less obvious is the timing problem most homeowners are walking into.
With a median construction year of 2003, most homes in North Salt Lake are exactly 20 years old. That’s when systems start failing. Furnaces installed during the construction boom are losing efficiency or dying outright. Water heaters have been fighting Utah’s hard water mineral buildup for two decades and are approaching end of life. Electrical panels sized for 2003 loads can’t keep up with EV chargers, home offices, and today’s appliance demands.
The city’s young population compounds it. With a median age of 32.7 and 24% of residents under 15, these are growing families in their first real home. Many have never dealt with a major system failure. They need a team that explains what’s happening, not one that just hands them an invoice.
Heating, cooling, plumbing, and electrical, handled by one company. No juggling contractors. No conflicting schedules. One team that always knows your home’s systems and history.
Young families in their first home shouldn’t have to guess whether a salesperson is being straight with them. We provide upfront pricing, explain what’s happening and why, and give honest repair-versus-replace guidance. 8,500+ Google reviews at 4.8 stars backs that up.
Every technician is certified, licensed, insured, drug-free, and background-checked. That means you know who’s coming into your home, and that they’re qualified.

Most likely. Furnaces installed during the 2000s construction boom are now 20+ years old, which is at or past the typical lifespan for residential systems. Even if your furnace is still running, it’s likely losing efficiency, costing more per month, and at higher risk of mid-winter failure. A tune-up or system assessment can tell you exactly where things stand.
Yes. Like most of the Wasatch Front, North Salt Lake’s water supply contains high mineral content that builds sediment inside water heaters and reduces pipe flow over time. Water softener installation and annual flushing are the most effective ways to protect your plumbing and extend equipment life.
Our certified technicians service all major heating and cooling brands. We’re also a Lennox Official Dealer for ductless mini-split systems, one of the most efficient heating and cooling options for Utah’s climate.
Yes. We offer financing through Synchrony, with plans including options for qualifying buyers. We also facilitate utility rebates, including $350 from Dominion Energy for qualifying gas water heaters and up to $700 from Rocky Mountain Power for heat pump water heaters.

Responded to a known leak in the kitchen sink cabinet area. Located and confirmed a hairline crack in the hot water piping at the main hot water line connection beneath a brass fitting. Repaired the compromised section of piping using PEX tubing with compression fittings, ensuring a secure and watertight connection. Tested the system for proper operation and verified no additional leaks were present.
Performed preventive maintenance tune-up on a 5-year-old residential HVAC system with furnace located in attic and air conditioning unit in backyard. Inspected blower motor assembly, ductwork connections, and all mechanical components for proper operation. System found to be functioning normally with no reported issues or deficiencies noted during inspection.
Completed installation of a single-zone Mitsubishi Electric mini-split system in the master bedroom, including MUZ-GX12NL outdoor condensing unit and MSZ-GX12NL indoor wall-mounted air handler. Installed 50' of 1/4" x 3/8" refrigerant lineset with proper penetration through exterior wall, secured and sealed all wall penetrations, ran electrical conduit and condensate drain line to outdoor unit mounted on exterior wall above brick accent band. Verified placement with homeowner, tested system operation, and confirmed all components functioning properly with integrated thermostat controls.
Andrew came out to check our AC and quickly resolved the issue. He checked our furnace as well and found some serious issues and recommended he comes out in October to help fix our furnace before we have to do any major replacements. Easy, quick, and good price.
