Salt Lake City homeowners can need heating, cooling, plumbing, and electrical systems that handle 4,327 feet of elevation, sub-zero winters, and some of the hardest water in the state. SameDay has been keeping homes comfortable along the Wasatch Front since 1957, and we do it all under one roof.
Heating, air conditioning, plumbing, and electrical. One call. One team. Same-day service for most repairs when you call before 3 PM.
When HVAC or plumbing problems can’t wait, neither do we. We know HVAC, furnace, and plumbing issues don’t adhere to a schedule, which is why we offer emergency services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. All three trades are covered under one emergency line, so call now to get the SameDay solutions your home and family need.
In older Salt Lake City homes, especially pre-1940s construction in The Avenues and Capitol Hill, outdated panels and aluminum wiring create real safety risks. We modernize electrical systems to current code while protecting your home’s value.
Salt Lake City’s 13–15 GPG hard water accelerates mineral buildup in pipes and water heaters, and the Wasatch Fault requires seismic bracing on every water heater replacement per city code. Our licensed plumbers handle permits, bracing, and installation, all in one visit.
Salt Lake summers push into the mid-90s. A properly maintained cooling system isn’t a luxury, it’s how your home stays livable from June through September. We service all major brands and install high-efficiency systems designed to lower your utility bills.
When your furnace fails in a Salt Lake winter, you need it fixed the same day, not next week. Our Certified technicians handle everything from routine tune-ups to full system replacements, with most installations completed in a single day.
Whether you’re dealing with furnace failures, burst pipes, sewer backups, power outages, or gas leak concerns, we dispatch 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including nights, weekends, and holidays. All three trades are covered under one emergency line.
We love serving our customers in Salt Lake City. Don't just take our word for it; here is what your neighbors say about our reliable service.
Salt Lake City sits in the northeast corner of the Salt Lake Valley, surrounded by the Wasatch Range to the east and bordered by the Great Salt Lake to the northwest. That geography creates specific challenges for your home’s systems.
Winter inversions trap cold air in the valley for days. The city’s 13–15 GPG hard water leaves mineral buildup inside every pipe and water heater. And with 25% of the housing stock built before 1940, particularly in The Avenues, Capitol Hill, and Marmalade, aging infrastructure means ongoing demand for repairs, upgrades, and replacements.
SameDay is headquartered right here at 3020 S W Temple, just minutes from downtown, Sugar House, and the east bench neighborhoods. Our technicians know these homes, these systems, and these conditions because they live here too.
Heating, cooling, plumbing, and electrical, handled by one team. No juggling contractors. No conflicting schedules. One number that covers everything from a tripped breaker to a burst pipe to a furnace that quit at midnight.
Founded in 1957, SameDay has served Salt Lake City through three generations of valley growth. We’re not a franchise that moved here recently. Our headquarters is 3020 S W Temple, minutes from the neighborhoods we service every day.
Every technician is Certified, licensed, insured, drug-free, and background-checked. When a job calls for seismic bracing, aluminum wiring remediation, or knob-and-tube assessment in an Avenues bungalow, your tech has seen it before.

We hired another company to fix our elderly dad’s AC and then it stopped working again on the weekend. Chris came over twice to get the job done so dad could stay in his comfy recognizable home. He was so professional and excellent!
Prompt, professional emergency service
Responded to emergency call for 14-year-old residential tank water heater experiencing leak from top connections in basement. Upon inspection, identified significant corrosion and oxidation on brass valve assembly and fittings at top of unit, with visible green patina indicating long-term moisture exposure and material degradation. Assessed circulation pump connections, expansion tank mounting, and associated copper piping for integrity. Unit still producing hot water despite active leak. Documented condition of corroded valve components, pump assembly with black plastic housing and metal hose clamps, and aging copper supply lines showing oxidized patina. Given age of equipment and extent of corrosion at connection points, provided recommendations for repair options addressing the compromised fittings and potential full unit replacement considerations.
