Performed comprehensive service inspection on 6-year-old wall-mounted tankless water heater unit located in basement. Removed front access panel to examine internal components including heat exchanger assembly, control boards, and electrical connections. Inspected copper supply and return piping, brass isolation valves, pressure relief valve, and gas line connections for proper operation and potential leaks. Evaluated electronic control board, LED display functionality, wiring harness connections, and internal sensors. Verified proper wire management, examined circuit boards for signs of wear or damage, and assessed overall unit condition. All internal components, mounting hardware, and plumbing connections documented and found to be operating within normal parameters.
Responded to warranty callback for GFCI receptacle that continued to trip intermittently even with no load connected. Inspected outdoor weatherproof GFCI outlet located at rear of structure, tested circuit integrity and ground fault protection functionality. Identified defective GFCI mechanism causing nuisance tripping, replaced faulty receptacle with new GFCI device, verified proper operation of test and reset functions, and confirmed stable circuit performance under no-load and load conditions.
