Taylorsville is one of the Salt Lake Valley’s most diverse communities, with nearly 58,000 residents and a housing stock where more than half the homes were built before 1980. That means aging furnaces, water heaters fighting decades of Utah’s hard water, and electrical panels that weren’t designed for modern household loads. From the mid-century homes near Millrace Park to the newer developments on the city’s southern edge, Taylorsville homeowners need a service team that handles all three trades under one roof.
SameDay provides HVAC, plumbing, and electrical services across Taylorsville and the surrounding Salt Lake Valley, all three trades, one call. We’ve been serving Utah since 1957.
When HVAC or plumbing problems can’t wait, neither do we. We know HVAC, furnace, and plumbing issues don’t adhere to a schedule, which is why we offer emergency services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. All three trades are covered under one emergency line, so call now to get the SameDay solutions your home and family need.
Mid-century homes frequently have undersized panels and aging wiring. We modernize to current code. We currently offer $500 off EV charger installation (excludes customer-provided equipment).
In Taylorsville’s older homes, decades of Utah’s hard water have taken a toll on pipes and water heaters. Our licensed plumbers handle water softener installation, repiping, routine flushing, and full system replacements.
High-efficiency replacements reduce monthly utility bills in older homes where original cooling units are past their prime.
Taylorsville winters bring valley inversions that trap cold air for days. Our certified technicians handle everything from routine tune-ups to full system replacements, with most installations completed in a single day.
Whether you’re dealing with furnace failures, burst pipes, sewer backups, power outages, or gas leak concerns, we dispatch 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including nights, weekends, and holidays. All three trades are covered under one emergency line.

Taylorsville sits at 4,382 feet in the heart of the Salt Lake Valley, bordered by Salt Lake City to the north, West Jordan to the southwest, and Midvale to the east. Cold winter inversions, summer heat, and hard water challenges hit every home here, but they hit hardest in the city’s pre-1980 housing stock.
More than half of Taylorsville’s homes predate 1980. Mid-century systems are running well past their expected lifespan. And Utah’s most diverse community, with 26% Hispanic, 6.6% Asian, and families from 25+ cultural backgrounds, deserves a service team that shows up the same way for every household, every time.
Every technician is certified, licensed, insured, drug-free, and background-checked. That means you know who’s coming into your home, and that they’re qualified.

Sink backed up on a Sunday! Service was prompt, efficient, and courteous. The blockage was cleared and I’m very happy with the results. Gabriel was great, would definitely recommend.
Responded to a kitchen drain stoppage affecting a double-bowl sink with garbage disposal. Upon arrival, confirmed that both sides of the sink were completely blocked and backing up, with the issue originating when the dishwasher was run. Inspected the under-sink plumbing configuration, which included a black garbage disposal unit, PVC P-trap assembly, and dishwasher drain connection. Cleared the blockage from the drain line, restoring full drainage to both sink basins and dishwasher discharge. Tested all fixtures to verify proper flow and confirmed no leaks were present in the drain assembly.
Completed routine cooling maintenance on residential HVAC system. Inspected furnace unit, capacitor, and electrical connections; all components found to be in operational condition with normal wear and dust accumulation noted. System tested and verified functioning properly.
