West Valley City is Utah’s second-largest city, with over 137,000 residents and one of the most diverse communities in the state. Most of the housing stock was built in the mid-1980s, which means furnaces, water heaters, and electrical panels across the city are now 40 years old and hitting the point where replacement becomes more practical than repair. From the established neighborhoods in East Granger to the newer developments near Hunter, your home’s systems need a team that covers all three trades under one roof.
SameDay provides HVAC, plumbing, and electrical services across West Valley City and the surrounding Salt Lake Valley, all three trades, one call. We’ve been serving Utah since 1957.
When HVAC or plumbing problems can’t wait, neither do we. We know HVAC, furnace, and plumbing issues don’t adhere to a schedule, which is why we offer emergency services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. All three trades are covered under one emergency line, so call now to get the SameDay solutions your home and family need.
In homes built during the 1980s, electrical panels were sized for a different era. Modern demands from home offices, EV chargers, and updated appliances frequently exceed original capacity. We modernize electrical systems to current code and handle the full EV charger installation process. We currently offer $500 off EV charger installation (excludes customer-provided equipment).
Utah’s hard water accelerates mineral buildup in pipes and water heaters. In West Valley City’s 1980s housing stock, decades of scale accumulation compounds the problem. Our licensed plumbers handle water softener installation, routine flushing, repiping, and full system replacements.
West Valley City summers push into the 90s. A properly maintained cooling system keeps your home comfortable from June through September, and high-efficiency replacements reduce monthly utility bills in older homes where original units are struggling.
West Valley City winters bring valley inversions and extended cold snaps. When your furnace fails, you need it fixed the same day. Our certified technicians handle everything from routine tune-ups to full system replacements, with most installations completed in a single day.
Whether you’re dealing with furnace failures, burst pipes, sewer backups, power outages, or gas leak concerns, we dispatch 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including nights, weekends, and holidays. All three trades are covered under one emergency line.
We love serving our customers in West Valley City. Don't just take our word for it; here is what your neighbors say about our reliable service.
West Valley City spans the western Salt Lake Valley, with 67 parks, diverse neighborhoods, and a housing stock that tells a clear story about service demand. With a median construction year of 1984 and 66% single-family detached homes, the city’s core infrastructure is aging at scale.
Furnaces installed in the 1980s and 1990s are well past their expected lifespan. Water heaters have been fighting Utah’s hard water for decades. And electrical panels designed for 1984 household loads can’t support today’s demands from home offices, EV chargers, and modern appliances.
The city’s three distinct areas, western Woodhaven and Oquirrh, central Hunter and West Granger, and eastern Redwood and Chesterfield, each have different housing profiles and income levels, but all share the same climate challenges and aging infrastructure reality.
Heating, cooling, plumbing, and electrical, handled by one company. No juggling contractors. No conflicting schedules. One team that always knows your home’s systems and history.
Founded in 1957, SameDay has served the Wasatch Front through three generations of Salt Lake Valley growth. That’s not a marketing claim, it’s 69 years of showing up, fixing it right, and standing behind the work.
Every technician is certified, licensed, insured, drug-free, and background-checked. That means you know who’s coming into your home, and that they’re qualified.

Yes. We dispatch for HVAC, plumbing, and electrical emergencies 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Whether you’re dealing with a furnace failure, burst pipe, or electrical issue, all three trades are covered under one emergency line. Call (801) 726-3329 anytime.
If your furnace is the original unit or a first replacement, it’s likely 30 to 40 years old, well past the 15 to 20 year expected lifespan. Systems that old lose efficiency, cost more per month to operate, and carry higher risk of mid-winter failure. We provide upfront pricing on both repair and replacement so you can make an informed decision.
Yes. Like the rest of the Salt Lake Valley, West Valley City’s water contains high mineral content that builds sediment inside water heaters and reduces pipe flow over time. Water softener installation and annual flushing are the most effective ways to protect your plumbing and extend equipment life.
Our certified technicians service all major heating and cooling brands. We’re also a Lennox Official Dealer for ductless mini-split systems, one of the most efficient heating and cooling options for Utah’s climate.
Yes. We offer financing through Synchrony, with plans including options for qualifying buyers. We also facilitate utility rebates, including $350 from Dominion Energy for qualifying gas water heaters and up to $700 from Rocky Mountain Power for heat pump water heaters.
Whether you need a furnace replacement for an aging system, a water softener to protect your plumbing, or a panel upgrade to support modern electrical demands, SameDay handles all three trades with the same team, the same standards, and the same commitment to getting it done right.

Responded to a clogged drain issue in a downstairs bathroom where the sink drainage was causing the adjacent laundry drain to overflow and flood within 30 seconds of running water. Cleared the blockage in the drain line, replaced the P-trap assembly with new white PVC components and proper fittings, and tested the system to verify proper drainage flow without backup to the laundry area.

Performed comprehensive maintenance on Lennox furnace located in basement and outdoor AC unit in backyard, both with easy access. Inspected air handler cabinet, verified condensate drain lines and PVC venting connections, checked electrical connections and safety controls, cleaned components as needed, and confirmed proper system operation.
