Spring Cleaning 101 for your Kitchen & Bathroom
Spring is the perfect time to de-clutter your home. With the weather getting nicer and the sunlight pouring in again, it can be a really rejuvenating time of year. Most people just clean out their closet and think all their spring cleaning is done. Think again. What about the other rooms in your house, like the kitchen and bathrooms? They are the rooms in your house that contain the most plumbing and electricity. So give them the spring cleaning they deserve!
For your kitchen
It is essential to give your refrigerator coils a good dusting. Make sure you turn it off on the surge protector or fuse box. Since coils are located at the bottom of the refrigerator and underneath the grill, it is best to use a vacuum attachment that can reach those hard to reach places. You should also defrost your freezer. Make sure the freezer is not on and take everything out of the freezer. Scrub the inside of the freezer with a solution of 2 tablespoons of baking soda and one quart of hot water.
For your bathroom
Get rid of old, expired beauty products. Be sure to secure them in a plastic bag and keep it away from small children and animals. It is also a good idea to go through your first aid kit and see what products are no longer useful. By updating your first aid kit, you will make your home a little safer for you and your loved ones.
